How brewing works

Not every drink needs every step. The recipe card tells you exactly where to stop.

01

Boil

Fill a cauldron with water, place a valid heat source underneath, and right-click the ingredients into it.

Use a clock on the cauldron to check time.
02

Bottle

At the recipe’s exact cook time, use three glass bottles to fully drain the cauldron.

Timing affects the finished quality.
03

Distill

When required, put the brew in a brewing stand and use glowstone dust as the filter. Complete the listed runs.

The glowstone filter is not consumed.
04

Age

Place the bottles in the correct barrel for the listed Minecraft days. One BreweryX “year” equals one in-game day.

Wrong wood or over-aging can spoil quality.
Barrel note: A vanilla Minecraft barrel counts as oak. Larger custom barrels are made from blocks with a sign reading Barrel.
